First I will address the blind issue. From the log, it is not a nightgaunt...people forget that it is really a *FACELESS* nightgaunt. It doesnt have eyes, Myrddraal can see without eyes(although can be blinded) but a FACELESS nightgaunt is magicaly bound to you. Thus can find you anywhere by following the magical bind.

Next, I will address its tracking ability.

The whole deal with Conji's are that they summon *EXTRA PLANAR* creatures. And I assume that a FACELESS nightgaunt is an EXTRA PLANAR creature....thus, distance in the material plane means nothing to it. Why would one foot or thirty miles mean a differance to a creature who can travel the planes?
