Perhaps using bats was a bad example, but his point is very valid. If you really expect him to think "hmm...before I hit 'post message' I think I'd better do a search for bats to find out if they are really blind...or maybe walk over to the library and check out 'Ye Olde Big Ol Book O Bats' and look it up" then you may as well not ever read this forum again, because you'll be dismayed and angry at the amount of misinformation thrown around here.
