Depends on the duergar. What weapon is he using? If he is using a polearm, use skill/spells/supps/songs to reduce his strength
so he can't wield the polearm anymore. Drowning attacks also work well against a duergar. Poison probably won't work too well.
For more advice, I would need specifics, what race/class are you, what weapon is he using?
