> I could see it if the name was television, chevy, Macintosh ect but give me a break in fantasy stories or worlds many chars are named after thier tribes beliefs or surroundings instead of making a bunch of letters that have no meaning. Like a druid being named Stoutoak because of his lparents belief he will inherit the strength and wisdom of the oak. And this person was named EmpireKiller because his mother had a dream when she was pregnant that her son would grow up to kill a lot of Imperials... And that person is named TrollMunch because his father ate troll meat and swears that it made him virile... And the other person is named Two Dogs Fucking because it's his tribes belief that the child should be named for the first thing that the mother sees after giving birth... (old joke, if you don't know it) Where do you stop? Who is to say that one 'tribal belief' is better than another? This way, there are some nice, clear-cut questions that, if answered truthfully, provide a groundwork that everyone can use and is level across the board. No, we're not perfect. We never claimed to be. We do the best we can, however, to ensure that everyone is bound by the same rules. -- Stellyx Windstone
(who's not sure he'd want to grow up to be as wise as an oak anyway...)
