Wars are won or lost before you make the connect to carrion fields, NOT in the game. Too many people have more than 1 char(myself included) and by deciding which char your going to play today.
In the old days, when I was playing Imperials in the wars, we almost always gathered the orb, killed some smuggers(Arolin, Zharradam and Malathrox) or tried at least. I think the only casualty in those wars was Llorenthos dying to Graatch cause he believed(foolishly) that he would not attack in town.
The idea is that I would very much like to play my Master in a Empire/Master, due to the simple facts that loot will be better(killing other mages) ... I have got extra allows on killing people without spellbane or camouflage.
I would bet a rats ass that some off the old empire gangs would have killed of the current Master-heroes without a ripple to be seen anywhere. Hmm actually they die enough allready...
