Think of it as a challenge. The cabal is incredibly fun to RP, and if you run out of ideas, look for goodies to try to convert ;-)... As for the rest of what you said, more and more players are coming to join the Cult because of the recent activity, and I am betting that as soon as a reasonable number of characters are in the cult, more powers will be released... Besides... Would you rather be in a huge cabal full of morons or a smaller cabal filled with awesome players? I can guarantee you that you will learn MUCH more in the latter.
