You will be happy with the choice. You can role a 21 for it's charisma but I don't know if it can go higher. Still I use an elf with 21 charisma and that does the trick. Also with the wood-elfs special ability you will love playing one. I don't like arials personally because the don't live long enough. Just go wood-elf.
