> 1. When creating a Warrior is it best to first choose the weapon you want to SPEC in or should you choose the race first? I have heard people say to do both. Choose your role first. Are you a berserking barbarian type of guy (like after you watch Braveheart for the 10th time) or are you a fencing, quick, nimble type of guy (like the bad guy from Rob Roy...yes, I like movies with guys who wear swords and kilts) or are you something completely different? This choice of your role should help determine what race/spec you choose. > 2. What race/classes make the best tankers? Giant polearm, arial sword, felar staff. > 3. What raace/class make the best PK'ers? Almost any, depending on what you want to kill. Duergar sword was prevalent in the mid-levels (25-35) because most of their pk didn't have protective shield. At high ranks, if you want to kill mages/clerics, you need something that can lag them (cranial, pincer, misdirect, lash (*laugh*), crushingblow, etc.) because bash won't work, and you better assume trip won't either. If you're going to be fighting ap's, paladins, and other classes that don't have bash protection, choose a good tanking spec (yes, even for pking). > 4. What is the most balanced race/class combo? Tough one. Felar staff/spear and hth warrior does pretty well. Misdirect can lag those mages, spin makes you pretty tough against fighters. If you get disarmed you can go for the stun and run. Hope this helps. I bet nobody really thought that this was going to be a helpful post :P.
