I fought both Istendil and Zorszaul, and I simply cannot figure out who was tougher. Part of Istendils well deserved reputation came because he had the opportunity for more combat than Zorszaul I think. Constantly raiding, hunting, or being attacked when he was anathema. Hard to ever compare them, because Istendil was there first, perhaps the first player to completely dominate Thera whenever he was on. It's like an old log I saw with Golmagus talking to a young necro... you're constantly being compared to Istendil, and it's really not fair. Different times, different cabals, different motives for each character. Chuck their PK skills, and each is/was an excellent roleplayer as well, perhaps that is why Istendil continues to hold the CF populations interest, and why Zorszaul does now. I only saw Istendil go OOC once... when as anathema he raided, slayed the Omegus, and then stated, "missed the comfy chair." Odd statement for a Lich... but actually, thinking about it, perhaps that was IC. I never got that deep inside his head. If Zorszaul was in an agro cabal, I think his killing numbers would in time match Istendils... who knows.
