Charisma is what determines whether or not the servitor turns on you at the end of the binding. If you are low on charisma, you'll always have to dismiss your servitors before you know the binding runs out.

I only got attacked 10% of the time with my gnome conjurer when I summoned both angels/demons/devils/archons. My charisma was maxxed out at the gnomish max, 19.

Every conjurer has a different theory on what to put in conjuring and in the binding. From my own personal experience, I would get radiant angels using 600 mana in addition to the 100 required for the spell, and use 300 or 400 mana extra in addition to the binding cost.

I've found that pets that stay longer than usual are usually pissed, while pets that are stronger and stay for the normal duration, are complacent. Unless, of course, you don't put enough power into the binding, or you fail a dismissal, and that makes them instant-pissed.
