Well, I've been known as a pretty suckie-ass conjurer (but I had a great time), and I found that when summoning/binding, I'd just throw all balls in on both. I had very little revolting, and can only remember two instances where I got the bejesus kicked out of me severly (Of course, there might have been more...). I wasn't a master, so I didn't have these ungodly beasties tailing me all the time, but they were razor most of the time. The only bad thing about it was that I was a drow with max chr (16, I think), but it wasn't too bad. I suggest you get a transmuter lacky and have slow on you when you're regen'ing... That's always fun.
