trust me, I would not have even tried to trip/cheap shot if he had fly up. I took the opprotunity of doing a dicern spell on him while he was unconscious. I also would not have attacked if he had an archon. If he had, the first thing I would have done was jack the archon, and if that failed, I would have fled and left him alone til the archon was gone. if I made it, I still would have fled because he would have either lashed me or tried to scourge or flash (hopefully scourge or flash since I can dodge them). If he was flying, I would have had a much tougher time. lately my computer has been giving me problems, and responds very slowly with commands, causeing a delay between commands where there would be virtually none. That's why when I first tried to jack him, he managed to transform on me between my emote and the actual jack. There are so many things that could have changed the course of that fight. several of them would have led me to not really attack at all after the jack. Soren, if you take another look at the log, he DID try to cast magic missle, and he payed for it with a devastates, decimates, and MUTILATES. I was praying that he would be totally stupid and keep trying to get it through. Had he cast one more spell at me, he would have died. Had I made one more cheap shot, he would have died, had one or both of my backstabs been slightly better, he would have died. If I got in one more hit worth 36hp or more, he would have died. If I had spellbaned transform at the start, he sure as hell would have died, and I would have hardly been injured. I didn't exactly leave him with too many options. If he could have unbound after the backstabs, it would have helped a little, but not a whole lot. Initially, I was hoping he would leave Seantryn and get on the ocean, so then when I jacked him, I could steal his boat and he wouldn't have a chance to flee or move at all, save buy a word. All in all, it was a great fight. Looking at the log, I think he did all that he could, given the situation.
