This is Old school cleric talk. I dont think good clerics were alllowed to cast plague. Notice casting, clerics were really mages then, grossly overpowered, and could be masters. I had a Maran Shaman under Shokai, the first Knight Shaman, I asked shokai about plague, I was informed then it was fine, therefore negating the old school rumor.
