Considering that he had no discernable role, was going around attacking bloodoaths (while he was a bloodoath himself), and in general acting like a goofy 13 year old with a big sword, he wouldn't have lasted long anyways.
But I do give him credit. Its much better to act like a goofy 13 year old than an angry one.
