I believe in active VIP enforcement of the rules. However, we don't make the rules of the Forum. And leaving something as potentially thorny as post removal as a murky subjective area is just asking for trouble. So many times, I read over a post and think that it's foolish, or useless, or inflammatory, but a pointless post doesn't violate the rules as stated at the head of each forum page, and thus there's really no grounds for removing it.

Personally, I'd be willing to devote the time required to review and delete more posts, but I get the impression that censorship is generally disliked. :P

Ultimately, Dioxide has to decide if he wants to alter the rules of the Forum, which are ultimately what we are enforcing.
