Let me try to put this as an analogy that I hope all can understand, and maybe we can find some closure. Lets pretend you have a job, and we are discussing your department here. > While I understand Shokai's point about Arbiter Imms having a difficult job, it is unfair to arbitrarily blame the players for the collapse of the cabal and exonerate the Arbiter Imms of any responsibility in it's failture. What really finished it off, was the departure of Justin, one of the BEST and most respected Imms. Our sales department always had some problems, but it was because management was always on our ass, we only had one good manager, Justin, and when he quit, all our sales went to shit. it's not our fault, it was management. > While Justin maintained standards and discipline, you never, ever got the feeling that he got his jollies torturing you, like Astein, and he made sure he was on often, inducted frequently, answered questions, seemed to actually give a shit about the cabal, and wanted it to succeed. Bria, to be honest, was often absent, seemed to be less than enthusiastic about being in charge, and was probably put there because noone else wanted the job at the time. Justin used to come to my desk and tell me I was doing a good job, but Bria, the other manager doesn't, so she must be a bad manager. These other guys are so mean, and dont want to be here, I bet you my thoughts about there attitude are gonna close this whole company. > Had it not been for Justin's leadership and hard work, the cabal would of fallen apart sooner than it did. Without him, it's no wonder the players got tired of the often absent and harsh leadership that the remaining Imms displayed. Justin really kept the sales going, the customers loved him, and respected him. But when he left, I didn't have him to draw on anymore, I used to do good, but now that I dont have his support, why should I give a shit anymore. > If Justin could do what is admittidly a harsh and demanding job, yet still have a good attitude that inspired the players and kept morale high, should we expect any less from the current leadership? These other managers better start coming over to my desk and tell me I am doing a good job, or I am just gonna screw around, and blow this company outta the water. Why not? I'll be able to blame the managers anyway. > -An Old Arbiter An Old Cf'r
