Im bloody sure, Ive stumbled across peoples stashes like that before.
At least 3 times, Ive found nice gear in weird places,
once at the far west of darien road, once in some obscure forest,
and another time in gal, in one of the less visited shops I think.

And Im damn sure Ive killed (and been killed mind you) by cheaters,
one necro had a heron marked blade, at rank 12? along with level 35 gear.
I as a storm paladin rank 11, got slept, posion, blinded and attacked.
Thanks to flamestrike, I had me a heron shortly after (although some thief stole it later)
