Or give someone haste/shields/whatever to aid them? Of course you are. I'm not sure how your argument makes any sense at all in this light. As I have not had access to CF for 6 months or so, I cannot quote you the rule to which I am refering. If you do a "help rules", however, I am sure you'll see one which goes something like this: x) Purposefully killing someone who is not in your PK range is prohibited. I would interprete this to say that things such as: -Dragging aggro. monsters to populated areas to slaughter newbies. (Attacking a big beast, then letting him track you to galadon where you then quit) Your examples are all fall into the grey areas where it becomes more of a question of responsibility. >So you're not allowed to heal people out of range? Or give someone haste/shields/whatever to aid them? These two examples don't directly cause the death of another. >Or summon an elite storm giant for a lowbie Rager to thirst into? In this example you put a hazard in the path of the rager, and HE attacks it. He has the option of not thirsting, or not walking into the creature. I'd say it's a stretch though. So, back to my original point. If a character is not supposed to be taking credit for the kill of someone outside of their pk-range, then it would seem logical to say that they have not claim to the equipment of the fallen. Personnally, I prefer it the way it has always been.. I'm just playing devils advocate. After all, what would arbiters do if they couldn't flag lowbies for looting that hero that just dropped dead? (I guess they do nothing now though, hmm?) ...Rome...
-Flagging someone so that your special guards can kill them, even though they are out of your PK range.
-Summoning a large mob who you know will assist against a lowbie who's already fighting.
