Although, I think there's merit to the ideas (hell, I'd buy several CF t-shirts myself) there's some serious problems too...which is why I'd guess that the immortals don't do it.

1. With a donation 100% of your money goes to the game. With stuff (like T-shirts) you're only getting the mark-up to the game. This might even make the T-shirts so expensive (don't forget shipping and handling along with how much it costs to print them)that you don't want to buy them...or atleast not in the quantities you think you do.

2. T-shirts could make CF money if there were a lot of t-shirts involved. I don't know exact numbers here, but the % of money made on each t-shirt goes up big time depending on how many t-shirts you order at once. But if you order a lot of t-shirts...and people don't buy them (what people say they'll pay for and the checks you actually get are really different) then the unlucky immortals who sponsored it are stuck with gobs of t-shirts. Speaking of sapping money from the game....

3. It takes work to get t-shirts printed and then accept money and then mail the t-shirts. That's a lot of time...time the immortals could be spending elsewhere (on CF even).

4. You think making a simple CF t-shirt would be easy. But all of sudden everyone gets an opinion...and they're all different. For example, I hate black t-shirts...they fade, they're hot, and they never look as nice as white ones, imho. What about sleeve length. And don't even go into the possibility of choices (not to mention sizes)...it'll get ugly fast.

On the other hand, if you're into it and think you could trust a large number of people to actually buy the t-shirts after you have them made (like if you're from a school with a lot of mudders and you can break knees if need be) then you could always do it yourself. Hell, mark them up, make a profit...and send the profit to CF. That would be a wonderful gesture, I think.
