> How could you not miss the Arbiters??? What the hell is the fun of commiting crimes when there is no chance of getting caught? Or no consequences for it? Ever commit a crime and start running for your life, starting that huge chase that goes all over Thera? Try pitting your skill and knowledge against an Arbiter that really knows what they are doing, and manages to find all the obscure places you hide! Now that is fun, and a hell of a challenge for both of you! Isn't that why we play this game, for the fun and the challenge?

> So you think getting flagged is a real pain in the ass? Well, it is supposed to be! That's because you are not supposed to commit crimes and get caught! If getting flagged were no big deal, how often would you hesitate to commit a crime right in front of an Arbiter? Never! So you get flagged. Well, deal with it! Go attack the Arbiters! Go attack everyone in your range in town! Go kill all the guildgards, just for the hell of it! If you are going to be a criminal, be a hardened one! But, sheesh...don't whine about it.

> So all you want to do is PK? Well, guess what. There are 188 areas in the MUD. How many do you think are protected? Give up? Six. Sheesh! I like THOSE odds! How hard is it to wait for your "target" to leave one of those six areas if they are holed up in one of them? And if they don't leave, well, find someone else to PK, or strap on a pair and attack them anyway in the protected area, and damn the consequences!

> Myself, when playing a character who is a criminal, prefer there to be Arbiters about. Why? Because then it is a lot easier to find your targets! Guess where they all are? In Galadon!

> Sure, not having Arbiters around is "easier". Both for you and for them. But is it more fun, or better for the game? I can only answer that for myself, but I think that Arbiters added a lot to the game, actually breathing life into that whole "ethos" thing we get to deal with. I, for one, will welcome their return!
