1) I don't know what the Zorszaul/permagroup connection is. Maybe you know something I don't. Most of the time I have seen Zorszaul, I've seen him alone (unless you count the charmies). The only frequent companions I've seen were Jagaub and Jafalrin, both Barons, and not enough to call a permagroup from my experience.

2) I'm not against PK lists persay. (See: ../messages/11058.html). I'm against those who use them as a measure of character quality. And we could probably do without the lists below hero range, since it isn't hard to think of characters who can sit at certain levels and rack up kills. The hero ranks require much more skill, and making that list is a sign of either longevity or combat skill. (Or a powerful character combo, but that is a bigger issue.) If you look at the lists, and count the names on the lower two who turned into -anything- of a presence, please let me know. The hero list includes a number of characters who had high profiles, and ended up fighting alot. (And too many air majors.)

3) I like Zorszaul's style, although I admit I haven't seen him in action a great deal. (Would you stick around for long?) He has incredible odds stacked against him right now, and just keeps bringing the good fight. And every story needs a villain.

Would I rank Zorszaul among the greats? Nope. Being a killing machine doesn't do that for me, and I don't know his roleplay well enough to make a solid call one way or the other. But I like what his presence brings to CF.
