People used to log out when Istendil was on (except for Imperials, who would log on in obscene numbers). People log out when Zorszaul is on. That's about it. A large part of the reason Zorszaul has lived for so long is that so many people quit out when he logs on. It took the organization of a massive caballed group to kill Istendil, and three of the members of that group were from the same site, and all skilled players. That sort of organization just plain doesn't exist today. I hear far too many people talk about how they *should* log out so Zorszaul will get bored and delete. Personally, Zorszaul's existence and the challenge it presents are a significant component of my interest in this character, and perhaps the game as a whole. Why not give it a chance? Don't you want to be the one (or more likely, part of the group) that kills him?
