Warrior's in a heads up contest of brute strenght NEVER loose to mages if the mage has no pets and no spells and cast no spells in combat the warrior could win every time. The this isn't very far fetched when you think about it... muscle machine vs. hardly a dagger skill. Most mages cannot win with spells in combat... bash most of them and unless they prepared properly before hand, and many time if they did; they die. Any hero warrior could kill Zorzaul if he lack all his phy and pets and didn't cast in battle or prior to. If you don't believe me think back ever hear about the time Zink beat the shit of of Istendil?. There is a reason most unskilled players die so often with mages and it's simply that most all of them can be taken down with bash or the like. You needn't spellbane to stop casting in battle... but it never hurts. I think your so set on the anti-mage powers of the ragers that you forget that warriors are a formitable foe in to any mage. Oh yeah and if your not going rager go empire damn if they arn't starting to stake a comeback.
