Multi-killing is not cool period... Multi-killing as an air major is a bit worse, (trust me, I've played one), as the person who has just died and is trying to re-equip doesn't have any way to avoid you really other than guildsitting, cabal sitting or logging off, and that's no fun for anyone.

> I was then approached by an Immortal who said that I am not to kill another living soul, until I have perfected halt person, soften, enlarge and reduce.

Being a Master, you should have had at least a couple of these mastered, or at least at much more than 75% before you had to be told to do so by an immortal.

>Now I totally realize how important it is to perfect my magic, however, isn't the slaying of ragers important too?

Yep, but not the top priority of Masters.

> Have I broken any unwritten rules by slaying the same person again and again? (Reminder: this is a PK mud)

>I hate it when people use "this is a PK mud" as an excuse to kill everyone outside of their cabal. Multi-killing, unless backed up by a very, very good RP reason is looked down upon.

I spent over 10000 mana trying to get better, however it didn't raise one %. Is there a way an Immortal can impair my learning like this? Any opinions would be appreciated.

I doubt the IMM would tell you to go practice immediately, then make it so you wouldn't be able to do so (unless it was their rager that you killed... JK ;) ) Anyway, if one spell doesn't seem to improve, go on to the next and come back to the stubborn one later.
