From a roleplaying eye...I would never show mercy. He did not break any roleplaying rules. He used what he has.

From a game point...yeah it sucks...but that is just because airforms suck. I say get rid of airform majors all together...Minors are ok...but majors just make the game stupid when you consider how many major airforms are out there now. I just remember how fun the game was when you could actually run and hide somewhere...but now...your only opition is to quit because you can't really re-equip yourself without have to go outside. You can hide in the underdark or something...but you aren't really doing anything but wasting time. Airforms just make Thera too small.
