Personally, I find that difference obvious. If you find yourself exhanging emails with someone or knowing someone in real life, and then rolling up your chars together, joining cabals together, rampaging together, that is an OOC perma Group. (eg. Yagar/Palan, Arolin/Zharr, Yagar/Shannagan -- oh wait, that was something else). Apparently, if you do this now, you'll be nuked. Now, if you find your character meeting another character that you find competent and trust, and find yourself grouping with him/her alot, that is called an "In Character (IC) relationship". That is ok. Now, just to review: Out of Character relationship between characters -- Bad. In Character relationships -- good. Personally, I don't find the concepts, nor the differences between the two all that hard to grasp.
