It not too early, but dont expect to get it on your
first meeting with him/her. They will probably (if
even answer your first prays) want to watch you a bit
and see if you live up to your role and get an idea of you.
If they do answer they will probably talk to you a bit, send
you on your way, watch you for a bit and talk to you later.

Again its not too early. Go for it, but dont expect much for a bit.
