I played Sea of Blood before CF, and it was a natural move for me. I seem to recall cabals being available from Day 1. One of the first things my character did was try to get into Shadow. Derit told me I had to kill a member of Justice to get in. I had to take the first summer off after CF was started (Spring of '94), so I might be thinking of that fall when I started playing for real... And true, there weren't many 35+ chars at first, but I don't think it took 6 months for someone to go over 35. After all, you used to be able to change your title and see people's levels and everything, and the custom titles went in pretty early. ShadowDancer never got much over level 30, and he (then she, thanks to a sex change operation from er.. Twist?) was able with help to raid other cabals while level 28-29. Cabal leaders were also levels 25-35 generally. Boy do the times change.
