The empowerment helpfiles give a pretty good example for Chillius and his sloth religion. I definitely wouldn't try to do something like this (exception noted below), unless you were really looking for a hard-fought challenge.
I can see druids getting away with no god in their sphere if they are receiving their powers from, say, the elemental plane, or the seasons or some such. But... still rather hard to prove you are worthwhile without putting alot of hours into rp.
