The Erinin flows through Galadon, and when it comes out the other side it branches out into smaller tributaries and lakes. The Murky River is one of them, and it's right where these people are telling you. Just head out the west gate, take the first south past the crossroads, find the bridge, jump off it. Or alternatively, get on the Erinin either east of Galadon or in Galadon (On the River), and head west.
