You have to give 2500 gold atleast but you can give more. It will increase your gold winnings the more you bet.

If you bet 2500, and the gambler rolls, 2 2 6. provided you said 2 you will get 25000. bet x10
If you bet 2500, and the gambler rolls, 6 2 2. provided you said 2 you will get 25000. bet x10
If you bet 2500, and the gambler rolls, 2 6 2. provided you said 2 you will get something. Really nice. Got to love the scorpion dagger.
If you bet 2500, and the gambler rolls, 2 2 2. provided you said 2 you will get 75000. bet x30

Well that's about all I know, there is probably some other secrets I haven't figured out yet.
