Sure, I guess so. But you know, the only people that can really "dick up" your role would be an Imm and I really don't think that happened.
If you got killed or something and lost your good eq it sucks, sure, but it really shouldn't affect your role. Hopefully you didn't let someone piss you off enough that you broke character.
