Usually by this time you at least see that it's wizlocked or something. Moreover, usually by this time an immortal has come on here, usually Shok, and has updated us as to the events that are transpiring.
We've gotten nothing though, so it's time to start thinking the worst. I imagine the imms have refrained from telling us what's up because they don't want us going postal when we find out it's going to be down for 3 weeks and will cost 10k to get back up again and that we should start sending in our 200 dollar donations tomorrow or it may be closer to 3 months until it's back up. Oh yeah, and they're going to have to pwipe the thing and there is a slim possibility that they may have to start from scratch and recode all of the areas. So when it does get put back up there'll only be those areas from the stock code they began with.
Or of course, maybe they just decided to take it down indefinitely until the less addicted fuck-ups go elsewhere. Then they'll institute a pay-to-play system where you have to pay 10 bucks to register each char and your IP is only allowed one char at a time so there'll be no more lab perma-groups or playing from school except for that one char that everybody will have to share. Then when you get frustrated and delete or con-die or age-die you'll have to spend another 10 bucks for a new char.
There'll only be warriors, mages, and clerics and three different races and since the majority of the imms will get frustrated that all of their hard work went down the shitter all of the really good coders will quit and we'll be left with those that are just learning to code and we'll get ideas like the Spiderman class or Darth Vader for a race.
Ugh, just put it back up already, I'm going cwaaaaazzzzy ova 'ere.
