What I would like to see is.
The Gods of Battle throwing the rules out the window temporally, because the lich has grown too strong. The villagers of battle being allowed to work in large numbers perhaps the whole village in hunting the lich. And the gods of battle allowing villagers to work with empowered classes in bring down the lich. Boy that would be something really intresting to see.
