It's very simply.

He says enjoy weather that is normally indicitave of may. He didn't say it IS may. He didn't say, "OH OH Look, it's may, and such nice weather!"

He said, "Wow, this weather is LIKE may. now, do you expect people to applaud you because you can't understand the difference between a metaphor and a simile?

As my 3 year old would say, "you obviously are wrought from the trenches of Vasser."

Nobody from yale would not understand that.
