> Shield Punch - Not great but a small warrior such as a gnome or svirf would do better with it on a giant than a normal bash.
> Bash Deflect - It seems to make sense that it would be harder to knock someone down who knew how to stick a shield in the way.
> Shield Sweep - Wouldn't affect a warrior-warrior battle that much but would play hell when used against a AP or Mage who dosn't get dodge.

Well, all these stories of a hero 'heroically' blocking a dragon's breath with his shield always made me think, "What a lucky, lucky bastard!" rather than, "How heroic." So...
I have to wonder...what if someone doesn't rely on his warrior skills or anything else, and only fate. What if something in the game were to allow someone who worships 'fate' to live through otherwise impossible odds?
Situation
1. Zorsaul comes to summon and kill you. your 'fate' is at such a high point that you are just previously summoned by some gnome mage who simply wants to ask you your thoughts on underwater basket weaving.
2. A band of imperials comes to nail you. Just as they attack, you are swept up by some silly enormous eagle who is convinced that you saved it's eggs and now wants to save you.
3. A nutty band of Dawnites comes to sacrifice you and suck you blood....well...you get the idea....
I would like to see a bit of true 'unknown' fate thrown into the game...
