A million posts with a million thoughts on Lich's, and Paladins and what-nots, but I really only have one question on a slightly different keel. Can ANY class, if played EXCEPTIONALLY well, have a chance from the immortals to get something REAL special?

I mean, all of a sudden a Paladin appears who shocks us all because he is played so damn well, will he have a chance, however small of becoming something like an archangel (just an example) Or an exceptional Assassin who ascends into some wierd stealth form (Creeping Mist) just an example.

I have heard the arguements as to whether there SHOULD be a good class that can stand toe to toe with a lich, and in those I am not insterested, I only wish to know if a transference CAN, in some rare cases, occur with all of the classes.
