It's your turn to speak when you learn to be civil.:

The mere fact that you post on the Forum so
incessantly about fairly well proves that you
DO care, so don't insult the intelligence of
the people you're addressing. Your vehemence,
however, has led you to lower depths than I
thought possible. I've been playing Carrion
since its birth, and I've done plenty of
cheating. You're not being persecuted as one
target while no one else suffers. Get a new ISP
and start playing and roleplaying well, and then
go bask in the warm light of the Immortals when
they see how much "better than half the player
base" you really are. Roleplaying isn't an inherent
quality, by the by, it takes a new effort of creativity
and logical thought for EACH new character, unless
you're beating some same old story to death with a few
minor tweaks here and there. I'm not flaming you,
I'm trying to tell you a productive course instead of
the one you have chosen.

Moreover, your childish, insulting slights are extremely
disturbing. This is a game, dear Arolin. First off,
spending eight hours a day on it is probably more than
most of the Immortal community (I'm guessing), and can
certainly not be healthy for your work, your social life,
your mental and/or physical health.

It is an extremely fun game with some great players and
people who maintain it. It's an interactive computer
game. Can anyone else hear the stress mark on the word,
'GAME'? And, to tell the truth, I don't know any details
about this supposed 'incident'. I don't want to. It's
not the kind of thing that rational people will do. If
someone really has it in their heart to spend time and
effort to deceive someone in the intent of hurting their
feelings, their credibility, or just to destroy their
fun in a game they have given quite a bit back to, then
I can't help but feel awfully bad for the kid. Attitudes
like that and actions such as those lead to a bad end.

It's certainly none of your business, or mine, or anyone's
besides the people involved. It's not uncommon- a friend of
mine met his fiancee in a chat room. He didn't REALLY know
if she was male or female until they first met. I know at
least two other individuals who have picked up and MOVED
to meet a person they have met over the 'net. It's not the
best way for everyone, but then again, who the hell are you
to judge? Eight hours a day, working on a Ph. D., I doubt it.

Someone pursuing a graduate degree of any kind would not have
this kind of petty, limited view, unless they're giving out
master's degrees at the flea market. The kind of attack you
are spitting out is painfully akin to an angst-filled
15-year old screaming at her parents to let her take the car.

You need to recognize that the anger and shallow, horrible
attitude you displayed in your post reflect a part of your
personality, possibly your way of dealing with people. That
does not bode well for your friends, and I hope dearly you
have no wife or family. It is childish, self-centered,
self-absorbed jerks like you that give my gender a bad name.
Next time you call YOURSELF a man, look long and hard into
the mirror and ask what it is that you need to prove SO badly
that you are willing to go to a discussion about an
interactive COMPUTER GAME and throw malicious, slanderous
assaults at one of its finer programmers.

Remember, it's the better man who can admit
he's wrong, who can apologize and walk away
with a smile, no matter how much it hurts the
pride momentarily. I do hope you find some
way of dealing with your anger in another way
in the future.
