This is partly a response to all those people picking on Kenneth on the char board. I always thought that the rule of thumb for picking a good name is to ask yourself: "Is this what I would name a character if I was writing a fantasy novel?"

As many of you certainly know, unoriginal names, that is names that are common, are frequently used in many fantasy books. What is so bad about Kenneth, and he's even got an rp excuse... Does every name have to have 12 letters and 3 friggin vowels. For that matter, why the hell is "a combo of two names" illegal? Why can you be Mary, but not Maryjane?

Since I'm trying very hard to avoid work and don't have enough time right now to mud, lets just run through a who pk list of names:

christ almighty, a 4 consonant cluster. ugly too. but better than most.
[ H-Elf ] (PK) Tomas the Josokutei

oh dear god, an unoriginal name, what a loser, and he's gonna get pk'd way too quick it's too easy to type
[ Svirf ] (PK) Xniler the Maker of Scrolls

xn rolls off the tongue real nicely. what is everyone's fixation on x?
