Of course, I once knew a girl who was being abused by an asshole husband. I urged her to pursue a degree, then get a job and leave her asshole husband. Yeah, they guy still threatens me to this day, but at least she has a life.
It amazes me that this is even a issue. Someone from the mud tries to lend a hand to somebody else, and a few asshole laugh because he got 'snared'. Gee, I would much rather play a mud where somebody heard a cry for help, and the people in charge ignored it and let whatever happen, happens.

Guess what. Your ability in this game isn't measured by your lurking about. All it takes is one 'twist' or 'scarabaeus' or 'robert jordan' or any other random fool to put you in your place. Let others be the judge of your roleplaying, not yourself. I don't care if you think you own God....if you can't rp, we'll all know it. Either you can, or you can't.
When it comes down to it, I'd much rather play with somebody who just heard about CF and wants to be a 'great thief', than some idiot diku/smurf/fta/whatever the hell who has all the answers.
