but then who doesn't. No one's perfect. Typically, if I make a mistake and don't catch it on my own, if someone points it out, I'll fix it. My point though is pretty much what so many others said after my post, that the Ragers are not overpowered if their intended victim learns to think a bit, and doesn't just expect to be able to swat a rager like a mosquito. It doesn't and shouldn't work that way.
To comment a bit on the rant that was posted against my last post, most of the other posts pretty well said what I had to say about that. To remark on your opinion of me, I'm not biased to ragers, because I have a Master as well, and when I play him, I don't want to have to deal with unfair advantanges either. However, my Master has only been pk'd twice, both by uncaballed players. On top of that, every rager he's come accross so far has not been a problem. I've either killed them, or been able to get away before being killed as well, and he's even an invoker making most spells inffective againt them. I don't play ragers because they don't take any skill, because anyone who's played a rager any time recently knows that's not true in the least. Being a rager means that you have ALOT of enemies (Master, Empire, any free-lance mage, any non-mage who uses magic in front of you (caballed or uncaballed)). I am extremely curious about two things as well. Where in the hell do you get the idea that Masters and Ragers mostly avoid each other? Masters and Ragers comsume at LEAST 80% of each other's lives if not more. The two ragers I've had hardly had time to do what I wanted them to because they were always involved with a raid, or a defend, mostly with Masters, but also to a lesser extent, with Empire. Someone who has no skill doesn't live very long in those types of conditions. Also, belonging to a cabal which is supposed to be about courage and honor you end up being forced into combat without very favorable odds quite a bit. Especially if you're trying to retrieve the head against outstanding odds. Case in point, try retrieving the head from the Tower solo, when the golem is fully shielded, hasted, enlarged, with sanc, and a necro sitting there summoning stone golems from the Thalos ruins to assist everytime you attack the Granite Golem. Then when the magi see that you seem to be doing ok because you have a nodisarm weapon and lots of gear, they procede to haste and enlarge all the stone golems as well. You'll find that 8 (or however many there are in thalos ruins) enlarged and hasted stone golems, plus the granite golem shielded, hasted, enlarged, and sanced all beating on you with no powers, tends to be a bit more than you can handle unless you know what you're doing. It took me 3 1/2 hours to retrieve the head because I was the only rager on, and there were no applicants or anyone else to help me. (by the way, the sanc didn't last too long because the healer left, or else I would never have been able to get the head) The biggest reason that I was even able to is because I had a dagger of betrayal to keep the golem poisoned so that he couldn't heal properly while I rested countless times.
Now I can't remember the other things I was curious about, but if I think of it I'll post it.
