Hm, I was an a-p who used axes and had no problem either killing the rager assassin or making them flee long before they could hyper-extend my arm or break my wrist. When you are getting hit by 4 MASSARCRES a round through resist you don't stick around long. The only time I had trouble with assassins it was a maran assassin with 6 invoker shields.
