I haven't played in the last year and a half (untill about two to three weeks ago that is), so i can't speak to how hard it is to get characters in entropy now. I can say, however that in my experience, i have had absolutely no trouble getting a character in. I've probably had like 6-7 barons in my time playing, one which i made specifically to see how quickly i could get a character caballed (something like 4 hours). I any case i sound like i'm bragging now, and i hate that, so i'm going to shut up.
The constructive bit of advice i want to offer, is that entropy is fairly easy to get into, if you actually take the time to be creative, and actually think about a characters history, and (brace yourself, as this is the most important part) PHILOSOPHY. Entropy more than just about any other cabal has a very philosophical approach to things. when i say entropy i specifically mean pico. now, pico i am pretty sure very often disagreed with kygolas on many issues, but in general, if you are looking for some interview material, go read some existentialist philosophy (specifically sartre) Kygolas, took this to its logical (anti-ethical) extreme, as that impressed me as being fun at the time. Pico does not in general i think. If you want to kiss Pico's ass in an interview, then talk about how freedom is unbridled, meaning is chosen, not necessary, and despite that we make a choice to value something, while all the while realizing its contingency.
Incidentally, if you are looking for some interview material for the cult of the ruby scarab, go read some nietzsche specifically geneology of morals (its short, and does the job fairly well).
I should not read the board when drinking...

P.S. I was wondering if anyone remembers Kygolas
