Hm, I don't think Ivan is as bad as alot of the names I see everyday. Obviously there were ivans in the medieval days therefore it's a medieval name right? I guess I would rather see someone named Ivan than someone named Wijke, no offense Wijke, but Ivan is more easily accepted simply because it was a historical name from the medieval days.
