If you're looking for the "new continent" (where Seantryn Modan is, for example), simply go a few steps east of the dock in NT, and head straight south. Be careful for there are some things there you don't want to run into...so if you're super-low level, you may want to scan. If you aren't too low, just be ready to flee. If you go south long enough (it's a big, big sea) you'll end up on the new continent.
And a note to any of you who think this is giving away too much information that is available in-game...check your maps of Eastern Thera. It's not there. There is no map that tells how to get to that continent. Yet there's a hometown there. I don't think it's meant to be "elite" info.
