Of course my own role playing deserves scrutiny, and I'd be fine with it if someone started a thread on it. Most everyone could do a little to RP their part better.

In this situation, however, after saying that I wouldn't join, I was ignored. I even asked why they weren't going to try convincing me but got nothing in response. Just made the Empire seems childish and not based on role play. Maybe if there were more player screening before getting into a cabal... Who knows.
