1st and main reason we do not need it : Imms do watch such things and if somebody abuse this he can find himself stripped of powers,purged etr(like certain storm paladin).
2. Ever heard of DHCP ? Expire lease and I will get new ip address (in same subnet though). + Dial Up connection has dynamic IP address assignment. You just need to disconnect and login again.
Can't thing about something else but I believe this is enough.
