As a once Master, I'll tell you I disagree.
A Master has three times the hp and damage resistance, THIS is brilliant for exploring. And you can have powerful friends, but they can't babysit you all the time.
And in regards to HAVING to go on raids, the Tower is a thinking cabal, you never have to take on twenty ragers, you can sit tight and wait for an opportunity to present itself. And defending is a stronger position in combat.
Ragers are different, you are known for going up against incredible odds, having courage, AND taking the orb from the damn sorcerors, so get in there and fight.
But, I don't agree with the initial post in that: He/she can create a character for the Master cabal, roleplay, get accepted. Just don't make one mistake once you're in.
