Every evil character has the right to help anything, doesnt matter the alainment of the helped, or if there is a reward or not.

I Know that doesnt apply for the citizens which have swear their life for the Empire and their LAWS. But if the character made the quest before he had swear layalty to the Empire there is no reazon to make him anathema, or at least that is not the reazon, maybe there are other reazons.

Who knows maybe the Immortal is trying to get rid of the Empire and he is using any excuse to fullfill his desire... After all Immortals are as mortals as us.
