This is one of the only things I have found troubling about Thera, but I in NO WAY think it an immortal failing. We have elitists saying "Find it yourself, I did", Bitching people out because of questions, making people feel stupid because they are new. But let these same people make a new character, and they already have their lives planned while they are rolling. Where they will rank, what items they will get when etc. Isn't this kinda using OOC knowledge in game as well?
Maybe could we have (NO idea how hard this is to code) wand loctions and such change monthly? Force people to explore, I dunno. Just a rant.
